Editing Wikipedia develops writing and collaboration skills, and is an excellent tool for self-education.
For this purpose, Wikimedia Armenia has created small educational centers, Wiki clubs in different communities of Armenia and Artsakh. These clubs aim at sharing the above-mentioned qualities with teenagers.
Wikiclub is a computer room equipped with facilities, where, with the help of a coordinator, teenagers learn to work on different Wiki platforms, gain knowledge, generate free content, expand their mindset, becom active and responsible citizens.
WikiClubs enliven community life. They are especially important in bordering settlements. Wikimedia Armenia organizes various events, thanks to which the club members stay connected with their peers from Armenia and Artsakh.
